We’re two friends who realized we got more done (and had way more fun) working side by side — sometimes at the same desk. In 2018, we turned that energy into Up10 to help associations and nonprofits move their missions forward with less overwhelm and more momentum.

With 30+ years of combined experience in business development, membership, student engagement, marketing, communications, and program development, we bring strategy, creativity, and heart to every partnership.

Why Up10?

Like many great stories, ours started in a coffee shop. After running through every name combo imaginable, we landed on a favorite line: “Success is falling 9 times and getting up 10.”

Up10 just clicked. It reflects the resilience nonprofits show every day — and the spirit behind how we work. (Learning that it came from Jon Bon Jovi was the cherry on top.)

Our Team

Sonya Guthrie

Sonya (pronounced like lasagna) is a communications strategist with a sharp eye for detail, a love of thoughtful follow-up, and a firm belief that even serious work benefits from a little humor. After five years in ad agencies, she transitioned to the nonprofit world in 2003, spending more than a decade at the North Carolina Association of CPAs and later the AICPA, where she focused on strengthening membership value, loyalty, and personalized marketing.

As co-founder of Up10 Solutions, Sonya helps organizations translate big ideas into clear, human communication that actually connects with members. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family (bonus points if it’s on a lake), tying almost anything back to a 90s hip hop lyric or a Will Ferrell movie, and managing her household zoo of three dogs and a bunny.

Jennifer Rowell

Jenn is a small-but-mighty leader who believes deeply in the power of collaboration. She brings extensive experience in business development, program management, and strategic planning—balanced by her most important role: raising three incredible kids. A thoughtful risk-taker, Jenn understands that meaningful change isn’t optional for nonprofits that want to grow, evolve, and stay relevant.

As co-founder of Up10 Solutions, Jenn partners with organizations as both a strategic sounding board and an extra set of capable hands, helping teams adapt, evolve, and better serve their members. When she’s not working, Jenn can be found spending time with her kids, traveling whenever possible, and enjoying time with friends.

Rebecca Reed

Rebecca brings more than 15 years of experience leading strategic marketing across digital strategy, content, growth, engagement, retention, and events. She began working with associations in 2013, where she developed national marketing programs to increase awareness of the accounting profession and had the good fortune of working for Sonya Guthrie, setting a high bar for leadership she’s been chasing ever since.

At Up10 Solutions, Rebecca helps organizations turn smart strategy into measurable momentum through thoughtful, data-informed marketing. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband and three kids, running, coaching swimming at Northwood High School, and enthusiastically discussing books.

Amanda O’Dell

Business Development Specialist

Amanda brings a thoughtful mix of organization, creativity, and good humor to her work. With more than 10 years of experience in project management and customer success across healthcare and nonprofit organizations, she excels at building relationships, identifying challenges, and finding practical solutions.

At Up10 Solutions, Amanda supports business development through strong partnerships and a collaborative, transparent approach. Outside of work, she’s a mom to three teenagers and three multi-personality pets, an avid reader and writer, and always planning her next travel adventure.

Lisa O’Malley

Lisa has a sharp eye for solutions and a genuine gift for connection. With a background in a startup title agency, she learned how to navigate complex deals with empathy, strategic thinking, and ease.

At Up10 Solutions, Lisa focuses on building relationships that matter, bringing the right people together, and helping organizations create partnerships that move work forward. Outside of work, she’s a mom to three awesome kids and one opinionated dog, a natural connector of people and ideas, and the person most likely to show up with snacks, solutions, and a killer playlist.

Senior Program Manager

Ashlee Tselikis

Ashlee joined Up10 Solutions in 2023 and brings more than two decades of association experience, having worked across nearly every department since beginning her career in 2002. A natural problem solver, she enjoys helping associations grow more efficiently, with particular expertise in membership recruitment and retention, marketing, and strategic initiatives.

At Up10 Solutions, Ashlee helps organizations tackle complex challenges through smart planning, strong execution, and process improvements that actually stick. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Katie Grier

Senior Program Manager

Katie brings eight years of association experience with a strong background in professional development, including online learning management, data, and curriculum planning. She’s highly organized, task-oriented, and known for her positive, steady approach to managing complex programs and timelines.

At Up10 Solutions, Katie supports organizations by ensuring educational initiatives run smoothly, efficiently, and with the end learner in mind. Outside of work, she’s inspired daily by her husband and three children and enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and watching a good action movie.

Workflow Coordinator

Lauren McDonough

Lauren joined Up10 Solutions in 2021 and brings energy, adaptability, and a behind-the-scenes superpower for keeping things moving. With a background in association management as a Member Services Manager, she developed a strong foundation in organization, multitasking, and team support.

At Up10 Solutions, Lauren coordinates workflows and assists across social media content development, bookkeeping, data management, and research. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her three kids, who keep life busy in the best way.
